The air in the Forgotten Hill Museum is thick with dust and silence—so thick, it almost hums. The door clicks shut behind you with a finality that makes your pulse stutter. The sign above the archway flickers: "Welcome, Seeker. We’ve been waiting."
You stand in the grand foyer, your breath visible in the dim, candlelit glow. The walls are lined with oil paintings—faces that don’t quite match the frames, eyes following you as you turn. A grandfather clock ticks… backward.
From the shadows, a voice rasps, soft but clear:
"Ah. You’ve arrived at last. Mr. Larson was expecting you. Though… he didn’t expect you."
You turn. A man in a tattered coat stands beneath a cracked chandelier, one hand clutching a silver key, the other pointing to a door marked The Library.
"The wine bottle," he says, "isn’t for drinking. It’s for listening. Open it… and hear what the walls have been hiding."
A small wooden table sits before you. On it: a dusty bottle, sealed with wax shaped like a weeping eye. A note is pinned to it:
“To see the truth, you must first hear the lie.”
The museum holds its breath.
What do you do?
- 🔍 Examine the bottle – Is the wax made of something other than beeswax? The eye seems… real.
- 📚 Enter The Library – Mr. Larson is waiting. He said the truth is written in the wrong order.
- 🕯️ Follow the man in the coat – He knows more than he says. But why is his shadow not quite touching the floor?
- ❄️ Check the clock – It’s still ticking backward. What happens if you stop it?
Remember the warning: never trust your eyes.
Choose wisely.
The museum is watching.
