"El horror siempre ha estado donde más me siento en casa, algo que Andrea y yo compartimos", declaró Bechko en el comunicado de prensa de Oni Press. "Con el tipo de sangre , hemos creado una historia malvada que se expandió en un personaje del que me enamoré en el momento en que apareció en la página. ¿Se corresponde? Sorrentino agregó: "Creo que el horror es simplemente mi género.
