Indie Gem Emoak lance Tranquil Mobile Haven, Roia

L'esprit d'innovation du jeu mobile est vraiment inspirant, et Roia en est un excellent exemple. Ce puzzle-aventure unique, du studio indépendant Emoak (créateurs de Paper Climb, Machinaero et Lyxo), adopte une approche inattendue de la conception de jeux.

Le concept de base est étonnamment simple : guider une rivière du sommet d’une montagne jusqu’à la mer. À l'aide de votre doigt, vous sculptez le paysage en dirigeant doucement le flux de l'eau.

Emoak partage que Roia a une profonde signification personnelle pour le designer Tobias Sturn, inspiré par les souvenirs d'enfance où il jouait dans une rivière avec son grand-père. Le jeu lui rend un hommage touchant.

Roia transcende la simple catégorisation. Même si les défis existent, l’objectif principal est la relaxation. Le voyage se déroule à travers des environnements magnifiquement conçus – forêts, prairies, villages – guidés par un oiseau blanc serviable.

Visuellement, Roia fait écho au minimalisme élégant de Monument Valley. L'expérience est complétée par une bande-son captivante de Johannes Johannson, également responsable de la musique de Lyxo.
