As of now, Square Enix has officially cancelled the mobile game Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link. The game was initially announced as a mobile-exclusive title set in the Kingdom Hearts universe, aiming to explore new storylines and characters. However, in a recent update, Square Enix confirmed that development has been shelved to allow the team to focus on the upcoming mainline entry, Kingdom Hearts IV.
The company emphasized that the cancellation was a strategic decision to ensure resources are directed toward delivering a high-quality, long-awaited entry in the series.
