Los fanáticos de Nintendo Switch 2 son zumbidos, pero no sobre la consola en sí. La emoción ahora se centra en algo aparentemente menor: el tamaño de sus casos de juego. Un minorista francés, FNAC, aparentemente filtró las dimensiones, provocando una gran discusión.

Según Nintendo Life, el periodista Felipe Lima descubrió un listado de juegos interactivos para tomar el FNAC que revela las dimensiones. Si es preciso, las cajas de juego Nintendo Switch 2 serán ligeramente más grandes que las del interruptor original. Una publicación Reddit de Hertzburst compara visualmente los dos, mostrando la diferencia. Según los informes, las dimensiones filtradas son de 5.1 pulgadas (13 cm) por 7.7 pulgadas (19.5 cm).

Este aumento es modesto, manteniendo los casos más pequeños que los utilizados para los juegos Xbox Series X | S y PlayStation 5. Si bien no oficial, el lanzamiento temprano de estas dimensiones a los minoristas tiene sentido para fines logísticos como la preparación de las pantallas de las tiendas.

Nintendo no confirma una fecha de lanzamiento, pero la especulación apunta a un lanzamiento entre junio y septiembre. Esto se ve impulsado por eventos prácticos programados hasta junio y la declaración de Nacon de que Greedfall 2 se lanzará antes de septiembre en la nueva consola.

El Nintendo Switch 2 se presentó en enero con un remolque corto que resalta la compatibilidad hacia atrás y un segundo puerto USB-C.
