Overwatch 2 de Blizzard est à nouveau impliqué dans la controverse. Un nouveau Lucio Skin, le Cyber DJ, au prix initial de 19,99 $, a été offert de façon inattendue gratuitement un jour plus tard.

La peau est apparue dans le magasin dans le jeu, pour être révélé comme une récompense de goutte à tremblement pour avoir regardé un flux d'une heure le 12 février. Cela a mis en colère de nombreux joueurs qui ont acheté la peau avant l'annonce du cadeau gratuit.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que Blizzard fait face à un contrecoup pour vendre des cosmétiques et les offrir plus tard gratuitement.
