Un studio PlayStation, récemment formé à partir d'un groupe d'anciens employés de Bungie, aurait développé une MOBA intitulée "Gummy Bears". Initialement conçue à Bungie, ce projet a subi un changement significatif, maintenant sous la direction d'une nouvelle filiale de Sony.

Ce MOBA unique se développait de la mécanique traditionnelle des barres de santé, adoptant plutôt un système de dégâts basé sur le pourcentage rappelant la franchise Super Smash Bros. Les personnages seront repoussés en fonction du pourcentage de dégâts, ce qui entraînera finalement une élimination lorsque le pourcentage atteint un point critique.

Le jeu comporterait trois classes de personnages - attaque, défense et soutien - avec plusieurs modes de jeu. Son style visuel est décrit comme confortable, vibrant et "Lo-Fi", un contraste frappant avec les titres précédents de Bungie. Ce choix stylistique vise à attirer un public plus jeune que la démographie typique du studio.

Le développement sur les ours gommeux aurait commencé en 2020, s'étendant sur au moins trois ans. Bien que sa date de sortie reste incertaine, le transfert du projet dans un nouveau studio PlayStation suggère qu'il pourrait être encore à plusieurs années après le lancement.
