Cthulhu Keeper Unveiled – A Tactical Game Where You Lead a Dark Cult and Summon Monsters
Kuuasema, the Finnish game studio behind the popular titles Bike Unchained 3 and Astro Blade, has announced their latest project: Cthulhu Keeper. This dark fantasy strategy game blends stealth elements with intricate tactical gameplay, drawing inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft and the classic Dungeon Keeper. Players will step into the shoes of a burgeoning doomsday cult leader.
The game is set in the shadowy 1920s. Players must construct a hidden underground lair to accommodate their followers and the terrifying creatures they summon. Missions involve acquiring forbidden artifacts, expanding the cult's membership, and evading persistent law enforcement. Each monstrous recruit demands a specifically designed chamber, built using ancient grimoires and mysterious relics. The lair itself needs robust defenses against rival cults and government agents, utilizing cunning traps and vigilant guards.
Players will summon nightmarish beings using arcane texts and recovered artifacts, each requiring its own unique habitat. Maintaining secrecy is paramount; outsmarting authorities and undermining competing factions is vital for the cult's survival. Strategic planning, clever defenses, and ruthless tactics will determine the cult's ultimate success or failure.
Cthulhu Keeper is slated for release on Steam in the near future, though a precise launch date remains unannounced.
