In this game, you can lead a diverse resistance, harnessing the strengths of warriors from various cultures across the globe. Whether you choose to focus on a single hero or take command of an entire army, you'll experience a blend of strategic world domination and dynamic, fully interactive battles. Just when you think you've conquered it all, be prepared for history to take a surprising turn!

Upgrades

While the core of the game is free to play, you have the option to upgrade for a more personalized experience. Choose your starting side and territory to suit your strategy. Unleash your creativity with fantasy battles between any two cultures, engaging as many warriors as your device can manage. You can even customize every character in the game, though keep in mind that there are up to 1,000 characters that are regularly updated.

Controls

When controlling a specific character, you can opt for the "Classic" one-handed control system or the more advanced "Dual Wield" where each hand is operated independently. If you're new to these mechanics, you can pause the game at any time by pressing the dateline and consult the "Controls" guide. Keep an eye out for in-game hints from scrolls or books that offer further guidance.

Switching between team members is seamless; simply tap their health meter or point directly at them on the battlefield. To enter "Commander" mode, use the arrows at the bottom of the screen. From here, you can direct any active member of your team by swiping from their position to a new location. Whether you're instructing them to move, engage an enemy, or retrieve an item, they'll interpret your commands as best they can, though their own priorities may sometimes take precedence.

No matter your device or preferred control method, you can always adjust your view by pinching the center of the screen to zoom in or out.

Map

In the main "Campaign" mode, your goal is to expand your territory by strategically moving units between connected areas. You can either fortify your existing territories or attempt to capture rival ones. Remember, only 50% of your units in a territory are available to move, making invasions more challenging than defense.

The population of inhabited territories can grow after each round, so it's crucial to control as many areas as possible. Units will also heal over time, so rotating through different locations each turn can be advantageous.

Performance

This game is my most ambitious project to date and may require a high-end device to run smoothly at full capacity. To optimize performance, consider lowering the "Population" setting to reduce the number of characters on screen, or adjust other features in the "Display" options.
