Damasi Rules

* Play on an 8×8 board, starting with 16 pieces per side—arranged in two rows, leaving the back row empty.

* Pieces move one square forward or sideways. They capture by jumping and cannot move backward. When reaching the back row, a piece becomes a king at the turn's end. Kings move any number of squares forward, backward, or sideways, capturing by jumping over any opposing piece and landing anywhere along that path.

* Captured pieces are removed immediately. Players must jump when possible. If multiple jump options exist, the one capturing the most pieces is mandatory. In counting captures, kings and regular pieces each count as one piece. If multiple moves capture the same maximum number, the player may choose among them.

* The game ends when a player has no legal moves—either all pieces are captured or movement is blocked. The opponent wins.

* Unlike other draughts variants, pieces are removed right after being jumped. This allows the same square to be crossed more than once in a single capturing sequence.

* During a multi-capture, turning 180 degrees between jumps is not allowed.
