Hideaki Nishino wurde zum alleinigen CEO von Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) vom 1. April 2025 ernannt. Mit der jüngsten Veränderung übernimmt Nishino nun die volle Aufsicht über Eres Geschäftstätigkeit und leitet die Plattform Business Group, während Hulst weiterhin PlayStation Studios leitet.

Nishino, der seit 2000 bei Sony zusammen ist, hatte zuvor die Position des SVP der Plattform Experience Group. Nishino sagte zu seiner neuen Rolle und erklärte: "Ich fühle mich wirklich geehrt, die Steuerung von Sony Interactive Entertainment zu leisten.
