MAME4droid 2024 emulates arcade games and systems supported by the latest MAME 0.270 release.

MAME4droid 2024 is developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco) as a port of the MAME 0.270 emulator from MAMEDev and its contributors. It supports arcade games and systems such as ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and MSX. This version of MAME is compatible with over 40,000 different ROMs.

This version of MAME4droid is optimized for high-end Android devices, as it is based on the latest PC version of MAME, which has higher system requirements than older releases.

Even with a high-end device, do not expect all "modern" arcade games from the 90s and later to run at full speed or with perfect compatibility.

With support for over 40,000 games and systems, performance will vary—some titles will run well, while others may not run at all. Due to the vast number of supported titles, we cannot offer individual game support, so please refrain from emailing requests for specific game fixes.

After installation, place your zipped ROMs (labeled for MAME) in the following folder: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms (Check the help section for alternative ROM directory options).

IMPORTANT: This version of MAME4droid is designed for the '0.269' ROM set and is not compatible with ROMs from older MAME versions.
