Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One, a single-player action-horror experience set in the iconic Alien universe, is about to become more accessible than ever—no VR headset required.

Titled Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition, this enhanced version arrives on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025. The update promises "even deadlier Xenomorphs" and improved visuals that elevate the tension and immersion of the game. Gamers can now add the non-VR edition to their wishlists today via Steam and PlayStation Store.

Originally released for PlayStation VR2 and PCVR through Steam in December 2024, the game later expanded to Meta Quest 3 in February 2025. This new iteration aims to bring the same intense gameplay and cinematic atmosphere to a broader audience by removing the VR requirement while retaining all the core thrills.

Developed and published by Survios, Evolved Edition is available at a price of $29.99 for the Standard Edition, with a Digital Deluxe Edition offered at $39.99. The deluxe version likely includes bonus content or in-game enhancements, though specific details should be verified on the store page.

Set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One plunges players into an atmospheric mission on the planet Purdan (LV-354). As Zula, players embark on a desperate search for a missing squadmate. Following a sudden attack, Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, awaken inside Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ eerie and abandoned Castor’s Cradle research facility. What follows is a gripping journey filled with suspense, survival combat, and chilling encounters with the galaxy's deadliest predator—the Xenomorph.

The original VR version of the game received a 7/10 from IGN, which noted: “Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow.” Now with the Evolved Edition, the developers aim to refine and expand upon that foundation for a wider audience.

Survios' development team will showcase the Evolved Edition live at IGN Live next month, offering fans a closer look at what’s new and improved in this upcoming release.
