Android Test Fires for Enter the Gungeon in China
Enter the Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell roguelike, is launching an Android test in China. A free demo is available on TapTap from June 28th to July 8th, offering a sneak peek into the Gungeon's chaotic world.
This mobile demo retains the core roguelike experience: unique runs, a cast of quirky heroes, and challenging chambers filled with enemies. The controls and interface have been redesigned for touchscreens, enabling smooth dodging and rapid-fire combat. A two-player online co-op mode lets you team up with a friend to conquer the Gungeon together.
The demo features the first two floors, introducing a selection of the game's extensive weapon arsenal and bizarre enemies, culminating in bullet-hell boss encounters. Developer feedback is actively sought during this testing phase to address bugs, glitches, and optimize the mobile experience. Visit the TapTap page to participate.
While currently limited to a Chinese-language test in China, the game's popularity suggests a global release is likely in the future, though no official date has been announced. For further gaming news, check out the Zenless Zone Zero pre-release livestream details.
