Gundam enthusiasts rejoice! An official GUNDAM TCG has been announced! A promotional video was released on September 27th via the official GUNDAM TCG X (Twitter) account, launching the "#GUNDAM" global TCG project. This exciting news coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, celebrating 45 years since the series debuted worldwide. The format (physical-only or including online play) remains unconfirmed.
Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement, livestreamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel. The event will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, showcasing his passion for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
