Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables, are often limited. This guide explains how to equip more and acquire additional Combat Items.

Equipping More Combat Items

Initially, you can only equip one Combat Item. To increase this limit, access the "Claim Entitlements" option via the Window On Liberty in your cell. Navigate to the Equipment section, then scroll to the right to find the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, allowing up to four Combat Items, unlock progressively. These permits become available quickly, generally by CODE level 3. Note that later permits only appear after acquiring the preceding one. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack. For example, equipping a Frag Grenade uses all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for independent use.

Acquiring More Combat Items

After completing the early missions, access The Warren HUB area. Within The Warren, locate Zakka's store on the upper level. Here, you can purchase Combat Items under the "Buy Items" option, categorized into Munitions (damaging items) and Medical Supplies (healing and restorative items).

Individual Combat Item purchases can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Stockpiling Medkits, for instance, might necessitate significant resource donation. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
