Dead by Daylight Mobile to Shut Down

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.

For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title. Originally launched on PC in June 2016, the mobile version debuted in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile pits players against each other as either Killer or Survivor in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Killers aim to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors fight for survival.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End Date:

The game's servers will officially close on March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws. Further details on the refund process will be available on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-game purchases or earned XP on the mobile platform.

Before the servers go dark, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the thrill for yourself. For another exciting mobile game, check out our review of Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
