How To Use Old Coins In Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Old Coins initially seem useless during the first chapter of Dynasty Warriors: Origins until you encounter Sima Hui. At the beginning of Chapter 2, a hut appears in the northern section of the map where Sima Hui resides. He provides valuable information about your relationships with various officers and indicates which officers are currently available for interaction.

More importantly, Sima Hui serves as the merchant for exchanging Old Coins. Here's the complete list of rewards available through this exchange system:

• 10 Old Coins - Ravenous Spirit Amulet accessory
• 20 Old Coins - 10 Pyroxene
• 40 Old Coins - 10,000 gold

• 140 Old Coins - 30,000 gold

Where To Find Old Coins In Dynasty Warriors: Origins

There are three primary methods for collecting Old Coins:

1. Overworld Exploration: Look for glowing pillars that appear as you approach them. Using the Eyes of the Sacred Bird ability makes them visible from greater distances.
2. Officer Relationships: Strengthening bonds with NPC officers through completing requests eventually unlocks conversations that reward Old Coins.
