Midnight Society, the game studio co-founded by streamer Guy 'Dr. Disrespect' Beahm, has announced that it will be closing its doors and canceling its FPS game, Deadrop. The studio shared this news on a post on X, stating, "Today we are announcing Midnight Society will be closing its doors after three incredible years, with an amazing team of over 55 developers." They also reached out to other studios, inquiring about potential employment opportunities for their team members.

Founded by Beahm, along with industry veterans Robert Bowling and Quinn Delhyo from the Call of Duty and Halo franchises, Midnight Society aimed to leverage their expertise with their debut game, Deadrop. The game was intended to be a free-to-play FPS set for release in 2024, but it did not meet its target date.
