Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero Listed for Switch 2 in Saudi Rating
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has reportedly received a rating for Nintendo Switch 2, even though Bandai Namco hasn't officially confirmed the fighting game's release for Nintendo's upcoming console.
While we await official confirmation, the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit discovered a now-deleted tweet from Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Media Regulation that appears to validate the Switch 2 version.
"Experience the fast-paced combat in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 with dynamic 3D battles and branching storylines shaped by your decisions," stated the since-removed tweet, which also confirmed the game's 12+ age rating.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero revolutionizes the classic Budokai Tenkaichi formula with next-gen enhancements, featuring "an unprecedented roster" where every fighter maintains their unique abilities, transformations, and signature moves.
In our IGN Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero review, we awarded it a 7/10, noting: "While occasionally sticking too closely to nostalgia, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero recaptures the pure joy of classic fighting games that prioritized fun over competitive balance."
Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders launched on April 24 at the anticipated $449.99 price point - and demand instantly overwhelmed retailers. That same day, Nintendo cautioned U.S. customers that My Nintendo Store pre-orders might not arrive on launch day due to extraordinary demand.
