"Dreadmoor: New PC Game Blends Fishing with Post-Apocalyptic Mystery"
Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, an exciting new first-person single-player action-adventure game inspired by the 2023 hit Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will take on the role of a trawler captain navigating the treacherous waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. The game promises a rich experience where you'll fish, explore, battle monsters, craft items, upgrade your boat, and unravel the mysteries that await in this submerged world. Dreadmoor is currently in development for PC. Be sure to watch the announcement trailer above and browse through the first screenshots in the gallery below for a glimpse into this intriguing new world.
Dream Dock describes Dreadmoor as follows: "Step behind the helm of a fishing trawler and set sail into a world transformed by a global nuclear war. Continents have vanished beneath the waves, leaving behind scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. As you navigate these perilous waters, sell your catch to survivors, undertake quests, and inch closer to survival. Be vigilant—creatures in your ship's cargo hold might devour each other! Enhance your vessel and craft essential equipment to delve into hidden depths and uncover secret locations. The Drownlands are home to mutated creatures and sinister mysteries, especially at night. And remember, radiation poses an ever-present threat…"
