How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.

As new monsters are frequently added to E.R.P.O., it's wise to bookmark this page for the latest updates and strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides for each monster. While there are specific tactics for each, you can also use various weapons to take them down:

  • Melee Combat: Equip yourself with melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer, purchasable in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will spawn in your next level, ready for you to pick up with M1 and swing at monsters. Caution is key, especially against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run strategy to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs.

  • Explosives: Grenades and Mines are available in the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, unscrew it with E, then throw or place it to cause a massive explosion that can kill weaker monsters or severely damage stronger ones. Mines require placement and await the monster's misstep.

  • Monster Brawl: Use the environment to your advantage. Lure a Huntsman to shoot at another monster by running behind it and making noise, either by walking or using Voice chat. Similarly, you can manipulate Reapers during their attack animations to cause them to damage each other or other monsters.

Robe Guide (Ghost)

Encountering the shadowy Robe, your best bet is to keep your distance to avoid its damaging grasp. Crouching and hiding can make you less visible, or you can kite it around. If combat is unavoidable, two Grenades or Mines can dispatch it, but melee is not recommended due to Robe's high damage output. Be wary as Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you focus on its mask.

Reaper Guide

The Reaper, a raggedy doll with spinning sword arms, is less dangerous in melee than Robe. While it can be kited or avoided, it's more susceptible to melee attacks. A single grenade plus a few hits can take it down, and explosives can stun it, making it easier to finish off.

Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

The seemingly harmless ducks of E.R.P.O. turn hostile if provoked, such as being grabbed or hit by falling objects. Once enraged, they'll relentlessly pursue you, dealing low damage with their bites. Outrunning or using melee weapons are effective strategies, and while grenades can kill them, it's overkill given their low health.

Huntsman

Facing the blind Huntsman, who wields a one-shot gun, stealth is your ally. He relies on sound, so move quietly and crouch to stay hidden. Melee attacks are futile against his auto-aim capabilities. Instead, strategically place a mine or throw a grenade while crouched to stun him for six seconds, providing an opening to attack with melee weapons.
