Hitman: Absolution arrives on mobile this autumn

Author : Hannah Update : Dec 21,2025
  • Hitman: Absolution is Feral Interactive's upcoming mobile port, bringing the acclaimed title to handheld devices.
  • Dive into a grindhouse-style adventure where Agent 47 breaks from The Agency and goes rogue.
  • The game features more linear levels, but they are packed with intense and satisfying gunplay.

Feral Interactive has established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mobile ports. They made a significant impact with their impressive and unexpected port of Alien: Isolation to mobile back in 2021. Their recent focus has turned to the Hitman franchise, with the often-debated Hitman: Absolution slated for release on iOS and Android this autumn.

Hitman: Absolution marks a notable shift for the beloved stealth-assassination series. It moves away from expansive sandbox levels to more focused, narrative-driven environments that players progress through linearly. While classic elements like disguises, silent takedowns, and 'accidental' kills remain, this installment represents a significant departure from its predecessor, Blood Money.

The tone undergoes an even more drastic change. Agent 47 finds himself confronting corrupt officials and violent maniacs who seem pulled from a Quentin Tarantino film, a stark contrast to the series' traditional atmosphere. For better or worse, Hitman: Absolution stands apart from every other game in the franchise.

It's a hit, man

As expected, Feral has included all the essential features with this port, such as keyboard and mouse support. For $14.99, players gain access to 20 missions, following Agent 47's rogue journey as he defies The Agency and overcomes numerous obstacles.

While longtime Hitman purists may have reservations, this is undoubtedly a port worth watching. Feral appears to have invested considerable effort to ensure this is the definitive mobile version, putting the world of assassination directly into players' hands.
