Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era

Your journey begins as a Soul Spirit, a deceased entity with a pivotal decision to make: become a Shinigami or a Hollow. Opting for the latter involves a simple yet irreversible process—break all the links on your chain, and you'll transform into a Hollow. Even if you do nothing, the chain will break on its own every two minutes, inevitably turning you into a Hollow within minutes.

Warning: Embarking on your Hollow journey in Hollow Era can be a grind compared to the Shinigami path. While Hollows may seem cooler, reaching the coveted ranks of Vasto Lorde or Espada requires extensive time and repetitive tasks.

Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era

Your next goal is to evolve into a Gillian, which entails grinding by defeating other Hollows and consuming their remains. You can evolve at level 15, but at level 10, you gain access to the Hueco Mundo dimension via a Garganta gateway, simplifying your hunt for Hollows.

Gillian Form in the Hallow Era

As a Gillian, your primary task continues to be eliminating Hollows while engaging with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Accumulating enough Progression Points will teleport you to your inner world, where defeating all Hollows three times will evolve you into an Adjucha.

Arrancar Progression

To become an Arrancar, interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo, which spawns every 30 to 60 minutes. This interaction will transform you into an Arrancar, granting you access to Hueco Mundo and the list of all Arrancar Ressurections in Hollow Era.

Vasto Lorde Progression

Choosing the Vasto Lorde path requires relentless Hollow elimination and consumption to earn Progression Points. Be cautious, as dying during this process will cost you 1% of your points. To reach Vasto Lorde, you'll need 800 Progression Points, earned through the following rates:

If you've chosen the Vasto Lorde path, your next evolution is into an Espada. The process mirrors becoming an Arrancar—locate and interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo.

To spot the Crystal Bush more easily, adjust your game settings by turning off Atmosphere, Bloom, and Depth of Field, then scout from a high vantage point.

How to Get Your Resurrección

Once you're an Arrancar or Espada, your ultimate goal is to obtain your Resurrección. Reach level 50, then head to Hueco Mundo and speak with the King of Hueco Mundo, Isen.

Isen will task you with defeating 50 Arrancars. Upon completion, you can activate your Resurrección once your Rage Bar is maxed and pulsating. Fill your Rage Bar by dealing or receiving damage. The default Resurrección keybind is “Y”, and it deactivates when you run out of Reiatsu or Rage.
