Inferno Dragon Evolution Arrives in Clash Royale After 9-Year Wait

Clash Royale players finally see the Inferno Dragon receiving an evolutionary upgrade after nearly a decade in the game. Supercell marked this milestone with a special collaboration featuring Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a unique announcement.

Hollywood-Style Negotiations Break Out

In a humorous new trailer, the Inferno Dragon - absent an evolution form for nine years - plays the role of a demanding celebrity. Leikola appears as the dragon's eccentric talent agent fighting for better roles.

The mischievous dragon temporarily abandons its Clash Royale duties to pursue fame in Tinseltown, showcasing the lighthearted spirit of this update.

Players can watch these entertaining negotiations unfold at Supercell's headquarters through the official reveal.

The evolved Inferno Dragon introduces game-changing mechanics - its damage ramp-up now persists when switching targets rather than resetting, dramatically increasing its battlefield effectiveness.

New Season "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" Launches

This major update brings the Inferno Dragon Evolution alongside the return of 2v2 League play. Team up with friends or match with random partners to climb the competitive ladder.

Milestone Events starting at Arena 7 offer substantial rewards including Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics. Two Crown Chase events will award special Battle Banners and additional shards.

Throughout June and early July, developers will showcase the new Evolution cards through rotating limited-time modes:

  • Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
  • Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9)
  • Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) - 4 Evolution Cards allowed
  • Magical Trio (June 16-23)
  • 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
  • Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) - 8 Evolution Cards allowed

The update is now available via the Google Play Store. Fans can also explore Marvel Contest of Champions' latest Fantastic Four: First Steps content update.
