Marvel Rivals Reveals New Stats and Most Picked Heroes

Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Hero Data Unveiled – Who Reigns Supreme?

NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals surprising trends and hints at potential shifts with the upcoming Season 1 and the introduction of the Fantastic Four.

Jeff the Land Shark emerges as the undisputed Quickplay champion, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, when it comes to win rates, Mantis steals the show, achieving an impressive 56% win rate in Quickplay and 55% in Competitive modes. This Strategist-class hero significantly outperforms other top contenders like Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The competitive scene showcases different favorites: Cloak & Dagger reigns supreme on consoles, while Luna Snow dominates the PC competitive landscape.

Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

In stark contrast to the popular choices, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive). This low popularity is attributed to player feedback regarding her underwhelming damage and frustrating gameplay. However, hope remains for Storm fans, as NetEase has announced significant buffs for her in Season 1, potentially boosting her pick rate and win rate considerably.

Season 1, launching January 10th, promises to shake up the meta with the arrival of the Fantastic Four (Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman initially, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season). This influx of new heroes will undoubtedly impact the current hero rankings, making it exciting to see how the meta evolves.
