Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, lets you turn your garden into a thrilling battleground. Similar in spirit to Plants vs. Zombies, Plantoons offers a unique and quirky tower defense experience.

What's the Plantoons Gameplay Like?

In Plantoons, your garden becomes a gladiator arena where plants fight waves of invading weeds. Unlike passive plant placement, you'll strategically level up and upgrade your plant warriors to withstand relentless weed attacks.

The game starts by choosing a plant from your arsenal and deploying it on the battlefield. Your mission is to repel increasingly aggressive weed invasions (hopefully less terrifying than zombies!).

As you progress, you’ll earn reward cards to enhance your plant army. These cards boost attack power, strengthen defenses, or increase pollen production. Strategically place your plants to create effective defensive lines across the meadow.

Each plant boasts unique abilities and stats. To expand your plant deck, complete challenges and build up your Card Bank, allowing you to customize and optimize your battle strategy.
