Players Can Sign Up for Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Tomorrow
Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th
Get ready, Tarnished! The first network test for Elden Ring Nightreign begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This limited beta will run sometime in February 2025 and is exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in the Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. While targeting a full 2025 release across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, this initial network test will only encompass two platforms. Cross-platform play is not supported, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console.
How to Register:
- Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
- Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await a confirmation email (arriving no later than February 2025).
- Participate in the February 2025 network test.
Limited Platform Availability and Other Details:
The network test's limitation to only two platforms represents less than half of the game's intended launch platforms. Specific dates for the beta will be announced soon. Progress made during the test likely won't transfer to the final game. Further betas are possible, though unconfirmed.
Elden Ring Nightreign's multiplayer will only support solo play or three-player parties; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will include additional gameplay restrictions remains to be seen.
