Uncover a Hidden Romance in Baldur's Gate 3: Naoise Nallinto

While Baldur's Gate 3 boasts many well-known romance options, a secret encounter with Naoise Nallinto awaits those who venture off the beaten path. This guide reveals how to find and romance this intriguing character at Sharess' Caress.

Locating Naoise Nallinto

This fleeting romance unfolds in Act III. After reaching Wyrm's Crossing on your journey to Baldur's Gate, visit Sharess' Caress, a brothel located east of the bridge leading into the city. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span fast-travel point for quick access.

Sharess' Caress Exterior

Within Sharess' Caress, locate the Nymph's Grotto. This chamber is on the second floor, identifiable by a green light and ivy beside the door. The door is locked but easily pickable (requires a lockpicking roll of 10 or higher).

Initiating the Romance

Inside, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Their interaction is interrupted by your arrival. Jara's reaction leads to a confrontation, triggering a dialogue sequence. Choosing options like "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken" will escalate the situation. Defeat the Mindflayer-transformed Jara to proceed.

Naoise and Jara

Naoise's subsequent interest in you stems from her attraction to Mindflayers. Selecting dialogue options that avoid judgment, such as "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset," and "That creature aroused you, didn't it?", will pave the way for romance. Further dialogue choices, like "What did you have in mind?" followed by "Close your eyes and listen," will initiate the unique mental romance scene.

Dialogue Option

During this scene, Naoise presents choices defining your shared experience ("Revered," "Contented," "Powerful," "Rich," or declining). The outcome varies depending on your selection. This encounter is singular; subsequent visits will yield only platonic interaction. Note that this romance doesn't appear to conflict with existing relationships with other companions.

Upon completion, you'll receive the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point (Shadowheart grants this) and the "Rapture" boon, providing a passive +1d6 to most ability checks. This hidden romance offers a unique and memorable experience within Baldur's Gate 3's rich tapestry of interactions.
