Sony has unveiled its stylish Midnight Black Collection for the PlayStation 5, featuring a quartet of premium accessories: the DualSense Edge wireless controller, PlayStation Portal handheld, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds. This dark aesthetic complements the existing Midnight Black DualSense controller, expanding Sony's range of color options beyond the original white.

The collection boasts a sophisticated, all-black design. The DualSense Edge controller, PlayStation Portal, and Pulse Explore earbuds are priced at $199.99 each, while the Pulse Elite headset is slightly more affordable at $149.99. Note that the Pulse Elite headset's price is significantly higher than its predecessor. This price increase is noteworthy, considering the inclusion of a felt gray carrying case (for both the headset and earbuds), rather than black.

Pre-orders for the Midnight Black Collection begin January 16th, 2025, at 10 AM ET, exclusively through direct.playstation.com. The official launch date is set for February 20th, 2025.
