Bandai Namco officially announced Armor King as a DLC character coming after Fahkumram. The gameplay trailer for Fahkumram showcased the game's Season 2 pass, confirming the masked wrestler's anticipated return to the King of Iron Fist tournament.

In a separate X (formerly Twitter) post on May 26, Bandai Namco released a dedicated video highlighting Armor King's reveal. His updated design retains the classic armored look, now accentuated with gold trim and adorned with gold chains. Completing the menacing appearance is a fur neck coat and his signature, fiery breath taunt.

As a franchise veteran, Armor King has been a mainstay since the original Tekken. He was also included as a DLC fighter in Tekken 7, where he was known for his highly aggressive playstyle. The community is eager to see how his moveset will be adapted for Tekken 8, particularly with the addition of the new Heat System. Many expect him to possess powerful and distinct grappling capabilities, similar to those of his rival, King.
