Gold Armor is a game-changer in Call of Duty Zombies, offering self-repairing capabilities that significantly improve survivability. This guide details how to obtain this powerful upgrade on The Tomb map in Black Ops 6.

The Benefits of Gold Armor

First introduced in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, Gold Armor automatically repairs itself over time, eliminating the constant need for armor plates. This is particularly useful against tough enemies like Amalgams, ensuring you remain protected even when low on resources. While manual plating remains an option, the self-repair feature offers superior resource management.

Acquiring the Gold Armor Vest: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Locate Statue Heads: Two statue heads are required to initiate the process. These are found within the Dark Aether Nexus, concealed inside destructible wooden boxes. Use melee attacks to break the boxes and collect the heads. One box is near a palm tree in a corner of the Nexus, close to the green Gateway portal. The other is easily spotted near the Juggernog Perk Machine.

   

2. Repair Roman Statues: Head to the Dig Site area. Place the statue heads on the two ruined Roman statues. One is near the Ammo Cache, the other near the Roman Mausoleum (Pack-a-Punch area). Interact with each statue to place a head.

3. Survive the Blood Sacrifice: After placing both heads, a "Blood Sacrifice" challenge begins. This involves eliminating powerful HVT versions of Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts. The challenge significantly reduces your health to 1 HP, making armor crucial. Multiple HVTs will spawn depending on the number of players.

   

   • Solo Strategy: Equip a Mutant Injection and activate it as the challenge starts to transform into a Mangler, becoming invincible. Melee the HVTs.
   • Co-op Strategy: One player initiates the Blood Sacrifice while another uses a Chopper Gunner from outside the Dig Site to eliminate the HVTs.

4. Claim Your Reward: After completing both Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest becomes available for purchase as a free Wall Buy in the Roman Mausoleum.
