Unleash the Epic: Guide to Wuthering Waves' Grand Finale

This guide details the "The Last Knight" side quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves region. It's a shorter quest than some, offering a glimpse into life outside Ragunna City and rewarding players with valuable items.

The Last Knight side quest unlocks after completing Chapter 2 of the main storyline ("What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing"). It's recommended to finish the main questline before exploring Rinascita extensively, as many side quests are locked behind Chapter 2 Act 3 completion.

Starting the Quest

Locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's near the first house by the main road, marked by a blue quest marker on your map.

The Night Reveries Performance

This involves defeating the Mad Knight, who only appears at night (18:00 to 06:00). Find him at the town's central pool. He's not a particularly difficult opponent.

Mimic Chests Challenge

After defeating the Mad Knight, travel to the tallest tower and fly to Carlow's location (marked on your map). He'll be unconscious near a large purple flower. Interacting with the flower transports you to an area with several chests. Only one is a genuine supply chest; the rest are mimics. The correct chest is the second one in the middle-left. Defeat the mimics after opening the chest.

Following the Knight's Trail

This section involves following quest markers and speaking with NPCs.

After speaking with Mr. Millkeeper, follow the scent to a battle with a unique Chop Chop and invulnerable Leftless and Rightless enemies. Using a Questless Knight Echo is recommended for this fight.

Finding Carlow

Return to Egla Town during the day and find Carlow in a town plaza. He'll be challenged by knights. The quest concludes after Carlow accepts a duel, revealing the truth behind the "Mad Knight" legend. You'll receive rewards including Union XP, Astrites, and resources.
