WoW Housing: new details shared by Blizzard
In 2025, World of Warcraft will finally introduce its highly anticipated housing system, and Blizzard has already unveiled some exciting details. They've promised a system accessible to all players, regardless of their playtime, wealth, or subscription status. No complicated requirements, exorbitant prices, or lottery systems will stand between you and your dream WoW home. This feature is slated for full release with the Midnight expansion.
Initially, players can choose a plot in one of two distinct zones: an Alliance-themed area blending Elwynn Forest with elements of Westfall and Duskwood, or a Horde-themed area combining Durotar with aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline.
Each zone is divided into districts, each hosting approximately 50 houses. Players can opt for a peaceful spot in an open area or build a thriving community with friends and guildmates. A wide array of customization options will be available, with most obtainable in-game, while some will be offered in the in-game shop.
Blizzard emphasizes three core principles guiding the housing system's design: extensive customization, robust social interaction, and enduring longevity. Further details are promised in the future, and Blizzard encourages players to share their thoughts and expectations.
