Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its initial Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing departures. The announcement, made via the official Xbox blog on January 7th, 2025, details seven new games joining the service throughout the month.

New Additions:

• Road 96: Available now (January 7th) across all Game Pass tiers (including PC). This choice-driven title makes a welcome return after a previous stint on the service.
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview): Arriving January 8th, available with a Standard subscription.
• My Time at Sandrock: Available January 8th, available with a Standard subscription.
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders: Available January 8th, available with a Standard subscription.
• Rolling Hills: Available January 8th, available with a Standard subscription.
• UFC 5: Launching January 14th, exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
• Diablo: Launching January 14th, exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.

The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks. Note the tier restrictions on these two titles. The remaining additions are accessible with a standard Game Pass subscription.

Game Pass Ultimate Perks:

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks are available as of January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departures:

Six games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:

• Common'hood
• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
