New leaks suggest a permanent addition to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.5: a Bangboo dress-up mode. This revelation follows Version 1.4's successful introduction of Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter being a free S-Rank unit), and two new permanent combat-focused game modes.

The upcoming Bangboo Beauty Contest event, according to leaker Flying Flame, will initially introduce this dress-up mode. Players will customize outfits for Eous, the beloved mascot. Flying Flame shared leaked screenshots showcasing various clothing items. While the mode will become permanent, event-specific rewards will be time-limited. Rumors suggest this event may also unlock a long-awaited skin for Nicole Demara.

Beyond the dress-up mode, other leaks hint at a temporary platformer game mode in Version 1.5, mirroring the diverse gameplay styles seen in other HoYoverse titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact.

HoYoverse has officially confirmed the arrival of S-Rank characters Astra Yao and Evelyn, a new area, and a new main story chapter in Version 1.5, launching January 22nd. Further details are expected soon.
