Gamescom Appearance

Initially known as "Project Terra," Alabaster Dawn's official announcement arrived via the developer's website. Scheduled for a Steam Early Access release in late 2025, the game is now available for wishlisting. While a precise release date remains unconfirmed, a public demo is planned for the future.

Gamescom attendees will have a unique opportunity to experience Alabaster Dawn firsthand. Radical Fish Games will be present, offering limited hands-on sessions. Even if you miss the gameplay, the studio welcomes visitors for conversations throughout the event (Wednesday to Friday).

Combat Inspired by DMC and KH

Crosscode Devs' New Game Alabaster Dawn unfolds in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, a wasteland created by the goddess Nyx, who banished the other gods and humanity. Players assume the role of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, tasked with reviving humanity and breaking Nyx's destructive curse.

Expect an immersive experience with an estimated 30-60 hours of gameplay across seven diverse regions. Rebuild settlements, establish trade routes, and engage in thrilling, fast-paced combat inspired by Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and CrossCode. Master eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree. Additional gameplay elements include parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and even cooking!

The developers celebrated a significant milestone: the first 1-2 hours of gameplay are nearing completion. While seemingly modest, this represents a substantial achievement in the game's development.
