Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's a must-see for fans. This new box set features the iconic Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks, transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, complete with their full rockstar attire.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set draws inspiration from a classic episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The Cold Slither set includes meticulously detailed 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all ready for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. Accompanying these figures are an impressive 29 accessories, including various musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and a complete drum set. The packaging is designed to evoke the atmosphere of the Springfield Theater, adding to the collectible's allure.

This exclusive box set will be available at San Diego Comic-Con, taking place from July 24-27, 2025. For those unable to attend, limited quantities will be offered on the Hasbro Pulse website post-event.

For enthusiasts of the classic G.I. Joe style, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, designed in the spirit of the original A Real American Hero toys, features O-Ring construction and comes in nostalgic packaging. It also glows in the dark after exposure to UV light and includes a microphone and guitar. Priced at $20, preorders for the Cold Slither Zartan ReAction+ figure begin on April 3 at 9:15am PT on the Super7 website.
