Marvel Contest Adds Original Champion Isophyne

Marvel Contest of Champions welcomes a brand-new original character: Isophyne! Created by Kabam, her striking design evokes the film Avatar, enhanced with copper-toned metallic accents.

Who is Isophyne?

Isophyne enters the Contest of Champions with a unique fighting style. Unlike traditional characters who build power for special moves sequentially, Isophyne's "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic allows for unprecedented flexibility. She can chain the same special attack multiple times, or mix and match them freely, creating unpredictable combat strategies.

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery, connected to the Founders, a secretive group whose story will unfold in 2025. For now, players can appreciate her formidable appearance and impressive abilities.

This launch coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is releasing a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
