Bethesda Voice Actor Critically Ill, Family Appeals for Help
Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his work in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, was found critically ill in his hotel room last week. His family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his mounting medical expenses and living costs while he recovers.
According to a post on the GoFundMe page created by his wife, Kim, and other family members, Johnson was unresponsive and barely alive when discovered after failing to appear at a benefit event he was scheduled to host for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta on January 22nd. Hotel security found him unconscious in his room, and emergency responders struggled to locate a pulse. He remains in intensive care.
His impressive resume of Bethesda game roles includes Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, three Daedric Princes (Boethiah, Malacath, and Molag Bal) in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others.
