How to Brew Coffee in Wanderstop

Author : Leo Update : Mar 21,2025

In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive's Wanderstop, players manage a charming tea shop in a magical forest as Alta, a weary warrior finding solace in rest and recovery. The shop attracts diverse customers with unique requests, including the unexpected—coffee. Here's how to unlock and brew this non-standard beverage.

Which Customers Crave Coffee?

During Wanderstop's fourth cycle, a unique avian customer arrives, followed by a trio of identically-dressed businessmen: Jerry, Larry, and Terry. These sharp-suited gentlemen, en route to an important presentation, refuse tea, declaring their unwavering loyalty to coffee. Their unexpected arrival presents a challenge for Alta, as Boro, the shop's owner, reveals coffee has never grown in this forest. Enter Zenith, an interdimensional being fascinated by the businessmen, whose palate, unlike theirs, is open to new experiences. Zenith's introduction is key to unlocking coffee.

Unlocking Coffee Beans

Prepare Zenith a cup of tea, infusing it with any valuable item—a book, trinket, or even a plant. After sampling the tea, Zenith, comparing it to their only known "hot water brew"—coffee—inquires about its creation. Alta's mention of "coffee beans" sparks a revelation for Zenith, who uses the Infinite Path to introduce coffee beans to the forest. Instructions for harvesting and brewing appear in Alta's Field Guide.

Harvesting and Brewing Coffee

Coffee beans now grow wild in the clearing, respawning randomly. Harvest them like other ingredients, storing them in your inventory or carrying one at a time. Clean the dirt-covered beans in the dishwasher before brewing. Simply add a bean (or more, depending on the order) to the tea maker, add water (heating optional), and follow the usual brewing process. Serve to customers, Boro, or even enjoy a cup yourself.

Adding coffee to your menu not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and offers a new option for other customers. Even Boro, though not a coffee enthusiast, is willing to give it a try.

This guide covers unlocking, harvesting, and brewing coffee in Wanderstop.
