Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that streamlines camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This guide explains how this helpful tool works.

Streamlined Camo Progress in Black Ops 6

The patch notes highlight Camo Challenge Tracking as a significant addition. It allows players to manually track up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges simultaneously. A particularly useful aspect is the "Near Completion" notification, alerting players to challenges nearing completion, even if not actively tracked.

This feature eliminates the need to constantly check the main menu for progress. Players can now monitor their progress in real-time during matches.

Tracking Camo and Calling Card Challenges

To track a challenge, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to the tracker. This allows for convenient progress monitoring during gameplay.

The system also automatically highlights challenges close to completion, regardless of whether they're manually tracked. These "near complete" challenges are also viewable in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.

Simplified Camo Unlocking

Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain necessary to unlock mastery camos.

This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness improves the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
