"Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects"

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo, and if you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you're in for a treat. The new pack introduces the iconic characters from the 2016 edition, allowing you to immerse yourself in the nostalgia of playing as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This pack isn't tied to any particular crime scene or case file, giving you the freedom to mix these beloved characters into any scenario you choose. Whether you want to stick with your nostalgic favorite or blend them with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is yours. The fanbase has been vocal about wanting these characters back, especially after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters, and it's great to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to their community's requests with this exciting update.

There's More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode, which harks back to the original 1949 rules and is available completely free. This mode brings back some old-school mechanics that alter how you navigate the game and make accusations. For instance, tokens will begin at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet always making the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead. Accusations can only be made from within a room, and the use of Clue Cards is eliminated in this mode. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players. This nostalgic twist on the gameplay offers a refreshing change for long-time fans.

You can find Clue aka Cluedo on the Google Play Store and dive into these new updates.
