How To Demand a Trade in MLB The Show 25 Road to the Show

In MLB The Show 25, the thrill of a fresh start isn't limited to your initial draft. San Diego Studio's baseball sim lets you shake things up and pursue greener pastures, even after you've established yourself. Here's how to orchestrate a trade in MLB The Show 25's Road to the Show mode.

After navigating high school and choosing your pro path (college or straight to the pros), your initial team is set. While this offers a clear starting point, the dynamic nature of professional baseball means change is always possible. Unlike previous iterations, directly requesting a trade isn't an option in MLB The Show 25. But there's a clever workaround.

The key lies within the Road to the Show settings. Locate the "Trade Frequency" slider in the Sliders section. Maxing this slider out significantly increases the likelihood of trades occurring, including your own. Remember, though, this doesn't guarantee an immediate trade; other teams must first take notice of your performance.

Once your skills attract attention, your agent will alert you to potential interest. Trade offers will then begin to arrive. Carefully consider each offer, as there's no guarantee of further opportunities. When you find a team that suits your ambitions, accept the trade. After settling into your new organization, adjust the Trade Frequency slider back down to a lower setting to avoid constant trade requests.

That's how you effectively "demand" a trade in MLB The Show 25's Road to the Show. For more tips, check out our guide on the best pitching settings for the game.
