Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place in three iconic cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, unique gameplay, and exciting bonuses. In-person attendees will experience city-wide activities, special merchandise, and community gatherings. The chance to encounter rare and Shiny Pokémon is a major draw, similar to past events featuring Pokémon like Dusk Mane Necrozma, Dawn Wings Necrozma, and Marshadow.

January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day

Beyond the Pokémon GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two more exciting events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over:

• Date: January 15th, 2025, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 2025, 8:00 pm (local time)
• Highlights: Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni, encounter the debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs), and various other Shadow Pokémon. Keep an eye out for a fashionable Croagunk!

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh:

• Date: January 19th, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time)
• Highlights: Challenge Five-Star Shadow Raids to capture Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight additional Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can teach their captured Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
