For newcomers, Dungeons of Dreadrock casts players as a young woman on a quest to rescue her brother within the treacherous caves of Dreadrock Mountain. The sequel shifts the perspective to a priestess of the Order of the Flame, tasked with uncovering the legendary Crown of Wisdom hidden deep within the mountain.

Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 expands upon the original's narrative, reintroducing the heroine from the first game and offering insights into her backstory and pivotal role in the unfolding events. Players will navigate 100 meticulously crafted levels, encountering challenging puzzles, deadly traps, and eerie enemies. The game maintains its signature tile-based movement and eschews inventory management and random number generation (RNG), offering only occasional hints.
