FragPunk: New Multiplayer PC Shooter Launched

FragPunk, a new 5v5 multiplayer first-person shooter, has launched on PC, receiving a mixed 67% rating on Steam based on initial player reviews. The game's unique selling point is its innovative use of fragment-cards. These dynamically alter gameplay mid-match, creating unpredictable and diverse combat scenarios. Developers describe the cards as combinable, counteracting, and adding a significant layer of tactical depth to the core FPS experience.

Players can select from 13 unique launchers, each possessing special abilities, catering to both collaborative and solo playstyles. FragPunk emphasizes both team strategies and individual skill in online matches.

However, Bad Guitar, the studio behind FragPunk, announced a surprise delay for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S console versions. Initially scheduled for March 6th, the launch was postponed just two days prior due to unforeseen technical issues. A new release date remains unannounced, but the developers assure players of ongoing updates.
