Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1

Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls arrives, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a new battle pass.

A sneak peek at Invisible Woman's gameplay reveals a Strategist character with a unique skillset. Her abilities include a primary attack that damages foes while healing allies, a knockback to maintain distance, temporary invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting long-range attacks.

The update also features Mister Fantastic, showcased in a separate gameplay trailer. He appears to blend Duelist and Vanguard capabilities, boasting above-average health for a DPS character, using his stretching abilities for attacks and defensive maneuvers.

While Human Torch and The Thing will join the fray later in Season 1 (a planned mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch), the absence of Blade, despite data leaks suggesting his inclusion, is a slight disappointment to some fans. Season 1 will feature Dracula as its primary antagonist.

Each season is designed for a three-month duration, with significant mid-season updates adding further content and characters. Despite the absence of Blade this time, the excitement surrounding Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, and the other new additions is palpable.
