Minecraft revealed adaptive cows, a new plant with fireflies and ambient music

Minecraft creators recently teased new cow variants, and Mojang has now officially launched content testing (Java) featuring these adaptive bovines. Similar to the recent pig update, these cows will adapt to both colder and warmer biomes.

Alongside the new cows, a new bush has been introduced.

The desert biome also receives an update with a new ambient soundscape.

Expect to hear whispering sands, new desert sounds emanating from sand and terracotta block clusters, crickets chirping from dry bushes, rustling branches, and howling winds, creating a more immersive desert experience.

Minecraft has also released a significant DLC partnership with Sanrio, bringing the Hello Kitty and Friends DLC to players for 1,510 Minecoins. A special trailer was released by Microsoft to celebrate the launch.

The trailer features Hello Kitty (celebrating nearly 50 years since her creation!) and Cinnamoroll, a favorite of V-tuber Ironmouse. This DLC offers a fun addition for Sanrio fans and Minecraft players alike, enhancing gameplay with charming characters. A limited-time Hello Kitty outfit is also available for free in the dressing room.
