Top Nintendo Switch 2 eShop Launch Titles Unveiled, Including $10 Zelda Upgrades

Author : Savannah Update : Sep 28,2025

One day into the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, the eShop's top-selling games reveal the console's early hits, with the $10 Zelda upgrades proving surprisingly popular.

Leading the Switch 2 eShop charts is Mario Kart World, the console’s flagship launch title. Most buyers likely grabbed it with the console bundle, redeeming an eShop code for the digital version.

In second place, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition shines. CD Projekt’s open-world RPG, absent from the original Switch, thrives on the new hardware, with fans eager to explore Night City. IGN recently discussed with CD Projekt how they optimized the game for Switch 2.

Third is Nintendo’s $10 Switch 2 Welcome Tour, a mix of mini-games and tech demos. Many fans argue it should be free, and after playing it, I’d agree—it feels like part manual, part interactive exhibit. Note: you’ll need a camera and a controller with GL/GR buttons to fully experience it.

Fourth is Fast Fusion, a sci-fi racer from Shin’en Multimedia. Reminiscent of their Fast RMX for the original Switch, it’s a fan-favorite stand-in for F-Zero, which Nintendo hasn’t revived in years.

Fifth is the $10 upgrade for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Despite being free for Nintendo Switch Online members, its high ranking suggests fans are buying it to keep or may not know it’s included. Enhanced visuals and a new mobile app drive its appeal, unlike free upgrades for games like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Sixth is Deltarune, with its latest chapters just released. Seventh is the $10 upgrade for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, less popular than its sequel but still strong.

Eighth is the cozy RPG Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, followed by Square Enix’s Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster in ninth. Yakuza 0 and Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition round out the list.

Further down, the full Switch 2 Editions of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild flank Hitman World of Assassination. Closing the chart is Hogwarts Legacy, with graphical enhancements and a $10 upgrade for original Switch owners.
